Restart

You’re the one who broke my heart. You don’t deserve to see my tears.
That scar on my heart? It’s been there for years.
They say, “Time heals all wounds” and helps you to forget.
I want to let you know, the time we spent together—I’ll never regret.
I could say, “I miss you” but that’s not true.
I miss the way you made me feel. That’s what’s got me blue.
In truth you’re a monster—a cold-hearted snake.
You told me you loved me. Now I’m just a mistake?
Over time I’ve picked up the pieces and sewn back up my heart
With a patch of your fleeting love. Now I can restart.

Pet Eulogy

Pets are more than just animals in our home.

They become part of the family and are full of unconditional love.

From the snuggles and kisses to the bites and hisses.

We love them no matter what.

The memory of them is what keeps comfort in our hearts forever and always.

Your pet was such a sweetheart who will be truly missed.

Just remember that you gave them such a wonderful life full of love, compassion, care, fun, and lazy days in the sun.

Fish

There are all sorts of fish in the deep blue sea.

You catch a few and set some free.

Fishermen hunt these living creatures

But they barely see their unique features.

Some are big.

Some are small.

Some are short

And some are long

No matter where you go, whatever you do.
There will always be fish in the big Ocean Blue.
